Matthew McQuaid, DPM is a board-certified surgeon serving Lake and Mendocino counties. He is licensed to treat all of your foot and ankle problems. Dr. McQuaid is a native of San Francisco. He completed a three-year surgical residency at Detroit Medical Center and a fellowship following that in Mainz, Germany. Dr. McQuaid is currently the Chairman of credentialing at Sutter Lakeside Hospital. He specializes in foot and ankle surgery with extraordinary expertise in infections and wound care.
Years ago, Dr. McQuaid and his wife went through a difficult time trying to have a family. After years of struggle, Dr. McQuaid and his wife, Michelle, were blessed with the miracle birth of their son, Luke. After this experience, Dr. McQuaid became interested in Mind-Body Medicine. He has a passion for teaching mindfulness and stress reduction.
